Assistant Financial Controller

ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – BERLIN PRENZLAUER BERG

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Financial
Controller to take the next step towards their career progression and join our
Finance team to cover Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, Generator Berlin Mitte
& Generator Hamburg. You will support the
Financial Controller in ensuring that all accounting processes and procedures
are completed efficiently and accurately. The role will be key to financial and
operating reporting and an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to add
significant value to the business.

Located in East Berlin's most laid-back neighbourhood,
Generator Prenzlauer Berg offers a clean and safe space situated moments away
from the Landsberger Allee S-Bahn and Tram station.

This Generator is rich in history as it sits in a former
Communist office block - now home to a chilled beer garden, open public spaces
and large entertainment areas, it is ideal for groups and school travellers.
Check out the nearby Olympic swimming pool and Velodrom concert hall. Then take
a quick tram ride to some of the city's big hitters, like Alexanderplatz, the
TV Tower and the Stasi Museum. Generator Prenzlauer Berg is the perfect
launchpad for exploring the city.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Support the
  Financial Controller in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  and property reports
• Assist with
  the day to day operations e.g. credit control, revenue reports
• Take
  responsibility for the Accounts receivable function and purchase procedures
• Be
  responsible for the management of electronic employee files along with other HR
  admin duties
• Run payroll
  on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate recording of staff hours, holiday leave,
  sick leave and any other allowances
• Support the
  preparation of monthly forecasts with the GM
• Support the
  preparation of benchmarking analysis on key financial revenues/expenditure
• Manage and
  supervise the Accounts Payable function
• Support the
  Financial Controller on finance projects as required

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Have an appropriate level of expertise ideally
  within the Hospitality industry
• Have qualifications or extensive experience in Accountancy/Finance
• Highly experienced in
  analysis and requirement gathering, ideally having operated in an organisation
  through business change and transformation
• Established, with a proven
  track record of introducing cost saving financial initiatives, new systems and
  processes
• You speak fluently German
• You agree that this is a 100% on-site position and that no home office option is offered
