We are currently looking for a highly motivated
Hardware Test
Engineer
(M/F/D)
to join our
R&D

*Principle Duties And Essential Functions*

• Planning, execution, and documentation of hardware integration tests
• Creation of test cases as well as documentation and analysis of hardware and software errors
• Development of automated hardware integration tests
• Carrying out system tests for verification / analysis of failures in the field
• Support in establishing of concepts for component and module testing
• Assistance with product certifications; Designing of test systems and, if necessary, monitoring of the measurements

*Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required*

• Vocational training in electrical engineering or communications engineering
• Knowledge and experience with optical data transmission systems, optical components, network protocols and analyzers are an advantage
• Ability to work in a team and proactive way of working
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work
• Good knowledge of English and German

Aufgaben

• Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Hardware-Integrationstests
• Erstellen von Testfällen sowie Dokumentation und Analyse von Hardware- und Software-Fehlern
• Entwicklung automatisierter Hardware-Integrationstests
• Durchführung von Systemtests zur Verifikation / Analyse von Ausfällen im Feld
• Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Konzepten für den Komponenten- und Modultest
• Unterstützung bei Produktzertifizierungen; Aufbau von Testsystemen und ggf. Begleitung der Messungen

Anforderungen

• Berufsausbildung in der Elektrotechnik oder Nachrichtentechnik
• Kenntnisse und Erfahrung mit optischen Datenübertragungssystemen, optischen Komponenten, Netzwerkprotokollen und Messgeräten sind von Vorteil
• Teamfähigkeit und Eigeninitiative
• Strukturiertes, selbständiges und lösungsorientiertes Arbeiten
• Gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse
