Your Future Field of Action

A geographically distributed team works in Site Procurement Europe, which supports all locations in Europe (Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain) with the purchase of technical goods and services. The internship position offered is located in the Local Procurement Germany team in Leverkusen and additionally supports the Procurement Technical Goods Europe team.

In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive salary of €2,100 gross/month for a full-time position.

Your Opportunities at Covestro

  • Carry out systematic evaluations and identify potential for consolidating and optimizing technical materials
  • Exploring international markets and creating meaningful supplier overviews
  • Actively participate in the development of supra-regional purchasing strategies
  • Analyzing and optimizing procurement processes for defined purchasing fields
  • Contributing to administrative tasks and strategic initiatives
  • Close exchange with various specialist departments and direct insight into production and administration at our European locations

  • Current enrollment in an economics or engineering degree program
  • Time availability for a 4-6 month internship during your studies
  • Enthusiasm for the combination of technical and commercial topics
  • Talent for structured familiarization with complex issues
  • Committed and independent way of working, paired with strong teamwork skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good German and English skills round off your profile
