Responsibilities:
- Category Management – Supplier Life Cycle Management – Contract Management.
- Contribution of your profound category knowledge in Travel, Engineering services OR Temp Labour
- Creation of spent transparency in order to consolidate spend across the group.
- Conduct the entire strategic souring process from sourcing strategy, spend and supplier analysis to negotiation and signed agreement.
- Generating continuous improvements regarding processes, system applications, products and services.
- Training and support of all departments for qualified requirements requirements and the creation of needs-based specifications and budgets
- Close cooperation with the buyers in our European plants and the risk management team
- Completed degree in economics or engineering or comparable commercial / technical training
- Several years of relevant professional experience in indirect purchasing
- Sound technical understanding of production systems
- Experience in organizing cross-functional European teams in a matrix organization
- Experience in drafting contracts
- Flexibility, negotiating skills, an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset
- Presentation skills and a high degree of customer orientation
- Sound MS Office and SAP knowledge
- Willingness to travel on business (approx. 15-30%)
