Your Role:
Are you passionate about bringing innovative medical technologies to market?
We are seeking a
Global Product Manager
to join our dynamic team in the neuro-orthotic industry. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between
our R&D department in Kaunas (Lithuania) and our assembly, sales, and marketing teams in Lüneburg (Germany)
. You will also collaborate closely with Embla Medical's Shared Services, effectively navigating and leveraging the mother company's resources to drive growth in Embla's direct markets.
You will ensure that product innovations are translated into market-ready solutions and that customer and market insights flow effectively back into development.
Your mission is to bring cutting-edge neuro-orthotic technologies from concept to clinical and commercial success.
Your tasks
Product Strategy & Development
- Translate customer and market needs into technical product requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with the R&D to define, prioritize, and monitor development projects.
- Drive the product roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate prototypes, lead product validation efforts, and coordinate clinical feedback.
2. Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment
- Serve as the key liaison between R&D, HQ functions, and shared services.
- Facilitate communication between development, production, commercial, and management teams.
- Coordinate documentation and knowledge transfer (technical files, test reports, production handbooks, etc.).
3. Market Introduction & Lifecycle Management
- Plan and manage product launches with Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Train internal teams and key customers on new products and technologies.
- Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and manage continuous improvement.
4. Technical Expertise & Customer Support
- Provide high-level technical support for key accounts and international partners.
- Support sales and marketing with scientific and technical input for presentations, trade fairs, and clinical communication.
- Stay updated on technological trends, competitor developments, and emerging clinical needs.
Who are you:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, R&D, or technical marketing—ideally within orthotics, prosthetics, or medical devices.
- Strong understanding of product development processes (from concept to manufacturing).
- Excellent communication skills across technical and commercial teams.
- Proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and intercultural competence.
- Fluent in English; German and/or Lithuanian is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Lüneburg and Kaunas (approx. 20–30%).
What We Offer:
- The opportunity to shape innovative neuro-orthotic solutions that improve patients' mobility and quality of life.
- A key strategic role linking development, production, and market.
- A collaborative, international working environment with flat hierarchies.
- Professional growth in a forward-thinking and purpose-driven company.
