Your tasks

  • Participate in recruitment and biobanking of patient material
  • Integrate comprehensive multi-omics datasets—including metabolomics, high-dimensional flow cytometry, and multiplex imaging—to accurately determine crucial molecular and cellular processes in colorectal cancer
  • Carry out experimental validation using both in vitro models derived from mouse and human organoids and in vivo studies using advanced preclinical systems to confirm mechanisms and the effectiveness of identified drug candidates

Your profile

  • Hold a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline such as Cancer Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, or related fields.
  • Meet all academic requirements specified by the Heidelberg Biosciences International Graduate School (HBIGS)
  • Possess strong expertise in molecular and cellular biology methods, including high-dimensional flow cytometry, gene expression profiling, and both two-dimensional and three-dimensional cell culture, alongside microbiology techniques.
  • Experience with metabolomics and proficiency in data analysis are highly preferred.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organizational abilities, capable of working independently as well as in collaborative team environments.
