What you'll do:
The control room technician reports to the WTG Manager and is responsible for the remote monitoring of wind turbines in offshore wind farms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remote monitoring, control and operation of offshore wind farms in a 24/7 shift system
• Error detection and in-depth error analysis including remote troubleshooting for offshore wind turbines with a focus on wind turbines
• Provide technical support to offshore site personnel, particularly troubleshooting
• Supporting the maintenance management of wind farms
• Support in the continuous development and improvement of processes to ensure and optimize the system safety and availability of the wind turbines
• Implementation of shutdowns in wind farm networks and in particular of wind turbines
• Communication and technical discussion with remote third parties and OEMs

Qualifications and experience:

• Completed training in an electrical engineering profession (or comparable qualification)
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems (HV/LV systems, converters, generators, programmable logic controllers) as well as knowledge of auxiliary systems of wind turbines
• Experience in servicing and troubleshooting wind turbines, ideally in the area of ​​offshore wind energy
• Experience with Senvion 5/6XM wind turbines or comparable wind turbine manufacturers desirable
• High security awareness
• Very good MS Office knowledge and experience in dealing with ERP systems
• Knowledge of English
• Teamwork and resilience when solving technical problems
• Responsible thinking
• Be structured, flexible and reliable
• Driver's license
