A crucial part of this success is the Technical Services team providing services to customers on site based on knowledge and tools to measure our impact of enzymes & cultures.

As a Technical Services Specialist you own technical fundamental knowledge and applications of our enzymes & cultures including analysis tools. You care about our products being used in customers production every day to produce safe and delicious dairy products including new innovations. To distinguish our market approach vs. competition our technical services specialist explore in teamwork with sales opportunities to unleash efficiency gains at customers. At the end we target at a win-win of selling our products while generating clear customer financial gains. Your impact as Technical Services specialist is key here as what you can measure and analyze you can improve.
 

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Application support on-site at customer frequently travelling, troubleshooting, innovation, optimization and phage monitoring in dairy with focus on cheese

• Customer service, recommendation of starter and ripening cultures, coagulation enzymes for dairy including sensory evaluations of dairy products

• Optimization of process parameters and ripening (cheese) using analysis of milk coagulation, fermentation kinetics and end product quality

• Statistical data analysis in the area of process optimization according to the Novonesis guideline "Trials and Sales excellence"

• Calculating customer financial gains derived from data analysis to support sales account managers

• Handling of customer-specific requests in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Salesforce/ Technical Service Platform

Potentially relevant experience:

• Minimum five years of practical working background in the production of a dairy (cheese making preferred) or at dairy supplier focusing on dairy production

• Deep knowledge of cheese making, ripening and end product quality

• Understanding of relevant process technology used in the dairy industry

• A degree in food science, dairy technology, or a related field.

• Up to two years of experience in technical services, production, or R&D within the dairy industry. 

• Familiarity with dairy culture applications, cheese-making processes, and sensory analysis. 

• Competence in handling CRM tools, particularly Salesforce. 

• Frequent travel required – 3 days a week 

• Ability to adapt to different work environments. 

• Ability to speak fluent German and converse in English
