You will join an elite, driven team of 60 hands-on builders, all united by a singular goal—transforming education for students worldwide. If we execute on our product vision, you will have helped build something generational that truly changes the way the world learns.

The problem you'll solve: You'll own and elevate Knowunity's visibility in a rapidly shifting discovery landscape—ensuring millions of students find, trust, and engage with our AI learning companion across both traditional search engines and the new wave of AI chatbots and generative search experiences. Your work will unlock exponential growth and cement Knowunity as the #1 reference for students globally.

Your ownership:

• Own and drive SEo & GEO strategy for top visibility across AI chatbots, generative search, and SEO—fueling user growth and global reach.
• Grow GEO into a key channel, making Knowunity the top reference for students everywhere.
• Optimise content and data for AI Overviews and chatbot responses to boost discovery and trust.
• Experiment with new growth channels (like Reddit) to expand our impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Content to ship high-impact improvements fast.
• Diagnose and fix visibility drops, keeping our organic presence strong and resilient.
• Ensure technical excellence—improving crawlability, speed, and Core Web Vitals.

Your track record

You've driven organic growth in fast-moving consumer environments, owning both technical and content strategies that put products in front of millions. You know how to diagnose and recover from visibility drops, using data-led methods to turn challenges into opportunities. You've partnered closely with Product, Engineering, and Content to ship high-impact improvements at speed, and you've seen the impact of resilient SEO on user acquisition and business growth. Whether launching a new channel, adapting content for AI-driven search, or experimenting with emerging platforms, you're fluent in turning visibility into measurable success.

Must-haves

• Proven experience driving organic visibility and growth in consumer or hypergrowth environments, with hands-on execution across technical and content SEO.
• Demonstrated success adapting to new search paradigms, including generative search and AI-driven discovery platforms.
• Data-driven approach to diagnosing and resolving visibility challenges, with a track record of shipping impactful improvements cross-functionally.
• Native or fluent English; German is a plus.
• Ready to work from our Berlin office 5 days/week (with some flexibility).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience scaling organic growth channels in international markets.
• Familiarity with emerging platforms (e.g., Reddit, TikTok, Discord) and community-driven growth strategies.
• Expertise in structured data, schema markup, and technical SEO for AI surfaces.
• Prior work with AI-powered search engines, chatbots, or generative search experiences.
• Comfort with rapid experimentation and growth marketing in a startup environment.
• German language skills.
