Warehouse Shift Leader

Als Schichtleiter Lager sind Sie das Steuerrad des Betriebs und verantwortlich für das Tagesgeschäft in der Logistik. Sie managen, leiten und koordinieren die Aktivitäten von Teamleitern und Lagermitarbeitern (Zeitarbeitskräfte und Vollzeitbeschäftigte) bei der Bearbeitung von Sendungen, Beständen, Bestellungen, Verkaufsaufträgen und allen Anforderungen des Unternehmens. Sie sind verantwortlich für wichtige und unmittelbare Entscheidungen im Lager, die für den Betrieb erforderlich sind, sowie für Probleme vor Ort, für die es sofortige Lösungen gibt. Sie motivieren, schulen, entwickeln und leiten das Team und halten den Betriebsleiter auf dem Laufenden. Sie stellen sicher, dass das Lager ein sicheres Arbeitsumfeld bietet.

Rolle/Verantwortlichkeiten

• Personalplanung, Schulung und Aufteilung der Aufgaben in den Werkstätten und Koordination der Mitarbeiter, Kapazitätsmanagement, Verwaltung von Hof- und Lagerabläufen in enger Abstimmung mit dem Betriebsleiter.
• Leitung der gesamten Schicht (Vollzeit- und Zeitarbeitskräfte) Organisation, Überwachung der Lagerung und Verteilung von Waren im Hinblick auf Kunden- und gesetzliche Anforderungen, ein- und ausgehende Bewegungen/Aktivitäten und Bestandsmanagement in Übereinstimmung mit den KPIs des Kunden
• Verantwortlich für die Implementierung von Prozessen, die Erstellung von SOP/WI und die Entwicklung des unterstellten Logistikteams.
• Erstellung und Einhaltung von Qualitätsstandards sowie Überwachung von KPIs
• Proaktive Identifizierung, Optimierung (CI) und Weiterentwicklung bestehender Lagerprozesse zur Steigerung von Produktivität, Sicherheit und/oder Gesundheit
• Durchführung und Pflege von Mitarbeiterbewertungen, Materialverwaltung und Leitung verschiedener Arbeitsgruppen wie 5S, Sicherheit, Lean und Kaizen mit positiver Veränderungskultur.
• Unterstützung bei der Implementierung von Neukunden und Änderungen bei bestehenden Kunden (CI)

Wen wir suchen

• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in einer Führungsposition, Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Logistik und Lagerhaltung und möglicherweise Leitung eines Teams unter seiner Verantwortung, insbesondere von Zeitarbeitskräften.

As a Warehouse Shift Leader, you will be the steering wheel of the operations and will be responsible to manage day-to-day logistics business. You will be Managing, leading, and coordinating activities of Team Leaders and front-line warehouse staff (Temp and FTE) in processing shipments, inventory, purchase orders, Sales orders, and all needs of the business. You will be responsible for important and immediate shopfloor decisions required for the operations and issues at site with immediate solutions. You will be motivating, training, developing, and directing team efforts, keeping Operations Manager in the loop. Always assure that the warehouse maintains safe and secured work environment.

The Main Responsibilities

• Workforce Planning, training and division of shopfloor tasks & employee coordination, capacity management, yard, and warehouse flow management in close coordination with Operations Manager.
• Directing the complete shift (FTE and Temp employees) Organization, Monitoring of storage and distribution of goods regarding customer and legal requirements, inbound & outbound movements/activities, and Inventory management in accordance with the customer KPI´s.
• Responsible for process implementation, SOP/WI creation and development of subordinate logistics team.
• Creation and compliance with quality standards as well as monitoring of KPIs
• Proactive identification, optimization (CI), and further development of existing warehouse processes to drive productivity, safety and/or health increases
• Execution and maintenance of employee evaluations, material management and leading various workgroups. like 5S, Safety, lean and kaizen with positive change culture.
• Support the implementation of new customer and changes for existing customer (CI).

Who We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leading role, Knowledge of Logistics and Warehousing and potentially managed a team under his/her responsibility especially temporary work force.
