Are you passionate about shaping the future of 6G and satellite networks? Join us as a Working Student (f/m/d) Distributed Computing and dive into exciting research, hands-on experiments, and innovation at the cutting edge of technology

You'll make an impact by

  • You support our research activities in Distributed Computing for 6G and Satellite networks by experimenting with our in-house emulation environment
  • Building on this, you assist in developing and updating orchestration solutions for predefined use cases, and compare their performance
  • Furthermore, you contribute to the setup and improvement of our testbed infrastructure to enable robust testing scenarios
  • Throughout these tasks, you collaborate closely with the team to integrate networking and edge computing concepts into ongoing projects

This is how you'll win us over

  • Education: You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a similar field
  • Experience and Skills:
  • Initial experience or strong interest in distributed or edge computing
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
  • Practical skills in scripting or programming
  • Ways of Working: You work independently, proactively and enjoy collaborating in a research-driven team
  • Languages: Very good English skills
