Founding Software Engineer

Job Description:
As a Founding Engineer, you will lead the development of AI-native products designed to modernize the public sector. Working directly with founders, you will shape the architecture and technology stack from the ground up, moving from 0 to 1. This high-ownership role involves building scalable multi-tenant SaaS systems and advanced conversational AI tools.

Location: Munich, Germany or Remote

What you will do:

  • Design and operate production-grade AI systems, including RAG, agents, and conversational voice interfaces

  • Develop scalable backend architectures for a multi-tenant SaaS platform using Python, TypeScript, and Azure

  • Own features end-to-end, from initial technical decision-making to deployment and customer implementation

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven track record of building production software in a startup or scale-up environment

  • Strong architectural thinking with the ability to work pragmatically across the full stack

  • Native or C1-level German language skills, as the platform serves the German-speaking public sector
