Responsibilities:

• Develop customer-driven features
• Support application engineers to solve technical challenges
• Expand and improve Verification & Validation (V&V) cases
• Enhance our Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) framework

Experience:

• PhD OR 5+ years in scientific computing, computational science & engineering, or related fields
• Hands-on experience in computational modeling with meshless methods (SPH preferred)
• (Nice-to-have) Focus in biomedical engineering

Attitude:

• Autonomous: Set tasks and objectives independently
• Self-driven and passionate, always learning (reads literature for fun)
• Team player: Shares knowledge and explains solutions to a diverse team
• Interested in software development, understands its critical role in modern science
• Eager to improve and learns actively from software engineers

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge in computational solid mechanics and/or fluid dynamics
• Deep expertise in computational modeling, ideally with SPH or meshless methods
• Proficient in C++17+
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Preferred Munich location
