Bookkeeper

VectorBuilder is currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including but not limited to purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The bookkeeper will work closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance.
This position is office-based from our Frankfurt office.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or any other related field
• Bilingual in English and German
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient skills in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office in general
• Excellent data entry skills and the ability to communicate complex data clearly
• Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• HGB (Handelsgesetzbuch) accounting experience highly preferred

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Enter data, maintain records, create reports, and financial statements
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
• Perform account receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
• Conduct reconciliation of all accounts as needed
• Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
