You will join a founding team with deep roots in scaling successful tech companies. You will work directly as a strategic counterpart to the Founder, Philipp Römer (ex-VP Product at Forto & Parloa), co-creating the product vision.

We work primarily with other, cutting-edge startups (Parloa, Orbem, Forto, Vimcar...) and help them get even further ahead. So not only will you work with a kick-ass Tekkr team, but also get real-life exposure to amazing customers and collaborate with their tech leadership on some of their most exciting challenges.

We have built an initial software product. We are using this product to run real customer engagements and projects to deeply explore customer problems. Your Mission: discovery, clarity, and leverage

You aren't here to simply execute a roadmap; you are here to write it with us. You will act as a true entrepreneur, balancing deep empathy for the customer with high-speed iteration.

• Deep discovery over delivery: Your primary focus is creating clarity. You will lead customer engagements, listen deeply to user pains, and extract the insights that define value.
• Strategic counterpart: You will work side-by-side with Philipp to shape the company strategy. We need someone who can challenge assumptions constructively and bring fresh, diverse perspectives to the table.
• The "AI-First" multiplier: We aim to achieve massive impact with a lean team. You will leverage AI as a core part of your workflow—using it to prototype concepts, analyze feedback, and generate specifications instantly.
• 0-to-1 execution: You thrive in the "messy middle" of early-stage development—taking vague concepts, validating them with real users, and collaborating with engineering to ship solutions immediately.

The Profile We Need

We are looking for a specific blend of experience and mindset. We value capability and adaptability over checking every single box, but the following experiences are core to the role:

Experience:

• 5+ Years in Product Management: You have a solid foundation in product principles.
• 0-to-1 or high-growth environments: You have either launched a product from scratch OR navigated the rapid evolution of a high-growth startup (Series A-C). You are comfortable with pivots and adapting to new information.
• Communication: Full professional proficiency in English.
• Location: Berlin-based or ready to re-locate to Berlin. We value the high-bandwidth collaboration of an in-person team.

• Ownership: You don't wait for permission. You see a gap, and you step in to fill it. You are comfortable making decisions even when information is ambiguous.
• AI-curiosity: You understand that AI is changing software development. You are eager to explore how AI can automate the mundane parts of PM work so you can focus on strategy and people.
• Resilience & learning: You view feedback as a tool for growth. You are eager to put incomplete ideas in front of customers to learn faster.
• Ambition: You want to work alongside ex-VP level leaders to accelerate your own career and grow into a top-tier product leader.

The hiring process

1. Video call (30m): Initial chat to ensure our goals align and answer your questions about Tekkr.
2. Founder call (30m): Deep dive with Philipp Römer about the Founding PM role, your motivation, and the vision.
3. Take-home project [a couple of hours]: We don't do whiteboard interviews. We give you a real-life scenario based on the Tekkr context to evaluate your discovery skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving.
4. On-Site-Day with Project presentation [1 HR]: You present your solution to the Tekkr team. + Meeting the rest of the team.
