Overview:

Accept, control and store the goods in. Ensure store cleanliness and tidiness. Pick goods from the store for delivery. Package goods for delivery and prepare necessary documentation. Prepare prospects for posting to customers. Other Office duties as they arise. 

Professional Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • General Education.
  • Experience in store and office environment.

General

  • Motivated, with ability to work independently, as well as under the direction of others.
  • Flexible, able and willing to carry out a number of different tasks as required.
  • Dependable in work habits and reliable in attendance.
  • Conscientious and be able to work accurately.
  • Effective communication skills with supervisor and co-workers.
  • Be in possession of a driving license.

Position Responsibilities:

Specific:

  • Accept and inspect Goods In from couriers and haulage companies.
  • Control Goods In against the delivery note and inform administration team of any
  • discrepancies.
  • Store Goods In, at the correct labeled location in the store.
  • Keep store clean, tidy and the goods in the correct labeled location.
  • Pick goods for delivery from the delivery note for shipping.
  • Package goods correctly for delivery completing the correct paperwork.
  • Run local errands.
  • Prepare Brochures for sending out to customers.
  • General office assistance as required.

General:

  • Assist Service Engineers in preparing systems for shipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
