We are looking for a strong addition to the Hamburg-based commodities division

Business Unit Manager Agriculture (M/W/X)

Business Development and Leadership | Ref.-Nr.: 181338

YOUR Mission:

  • Development of the Bureau Veritas Group strategy, policies, objectives and  KPIs and business development plan on the German Market and implementing business strategy, policies, objectives for the Business Unit Agriculture
  • Manage CTD Business Unit - define, set up, coordinate, delegate, supervise and manage overall CTD organization, roles and responsibilities
  • Managing and developing a team of case workers and employed inspectors
  • Taking on your own selected key accounts and expanding the supplier network
  • Monitor and control Pay & Loss of Commodity services and Production, so finance management, incomes and cost control and monthly reporting of activities and results according to company reporting process/deadlines
  • Participation in preparing yearly budget

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Successfully completed studies with a master's degree (or comparable) in a field relevant to the position
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in technical and disciplinary leadership
  • Excellent user knowledge of common CRM as well as MS Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Fluent German and very good English (at least level C1 or equivalent)
  • Team player, analytical skills, solution-oriented thinking and KPI-based business development
