What to expect

We are seeking a talented Digital Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will help design and evolve innovative digital products, primarily in the automotive sector. You will contribute to all stages of the design process — from concept to delivery — helping craft intuitive and visually striking user experiences. Working within a small, high-performing team, you will collaborate closely with other designers, developers, and stakeholders, balancing autonomy with teamwork and always striving for design excellence.

Your competencies

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in digital product design, with a portfolio of relevant work — ideally in automotive or related industries.
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems.
  • Strength in either UX or UI, with ability to work across both disciplines (T-shaped profile).
  • Understanding of responsive design and interaction patterns.
  • Basic understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with developers.
  • Experience working within small, collaborative, agile teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients.
  • A drive for quality, user-centered outcomes, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge about the latest developments in generative AI and marketing automation.
  • Experience designing for automotive HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
  • Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
  • Experience working across multiple brands or product ecosystems.

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Support the design of digital products, from concept through delivery, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems to ensure consistency and quality.

Create quality designs and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design intent is maintained through implementation (basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is beneficial).
- Work within small, agile teams, taking responsibility for your workstreams.

Combine user-centered design thinking with solid visual execution.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from users, team members, and stakeholders.
- Communicate design concepts clearly within the team and to clients.

  • Have experience working in a similar role in an agency or consultancy environment.
  • Can explain design engineering, your stance on it, and the way forward at OH–SO with compelling arguments.
  • Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, from designers to developers, as well as directly with clients
