Your area of responsibility
- Design and develop scalable and high-performance backend systems and services
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other teams to ensure seamless integration
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise and drive solutions
- Continuously improve the system's performance and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development and contribute to the development of best practices
We are looking for you
- 5 years of relevant Software Engineering experience
- A creative problem-solver who can think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions
- A team player who is comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and can communicate effectively
- A continuous learner who is always up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development
Your profile
- You have a successfully completed degree in informatics or a successfully completed training as an IT specialist or similar
- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Software Engineer
- Strong experience in Go (Bonus for experience with C# and .Net Core)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Familiarity with RDBMS databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in startups is a plus
- You have a very good command of English and German, both written and spoken
