What to Expect
Join Tesla's mission to accelerate toward sustainable abundance. The Facilities team provides operational support to enable our Sales, Service and Delivery locations in Central Europe – comprised of the seven countries Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania – run as efficiently and effectively as possible and to provide exceptional experience for our customers and employees.
The Facilities team manages repair, maintenance, remodel and inspection projects that are critical to support Tesla's rapid infrastructure growth while also ensuring Tesla Centers continue to meet our evolving standards and are compliant with external regulation. In this role, you will partner with regional Leadership and various local Sales and Service teams, as well as other Tesla departments such as infrastructure Development, Compliance and EHS experts to drive projects to completion. You will also manage relationships with our vendors and track their performance, liaise with external authorities and landlords, and regularly travel to our locations to conduct site visits.
This role offers opportunities to grow within Tesla's dynamic Facilities team, develop expertise in infrastructure related topics, and contribute to mission critical projects across Central Europe. You will work in international and cross-functional teams, collaborating with regional Leadership, local teams, and external partners, leaving direct impact on our customers and employees.
What we offer:
- Career Development and Training: At Tesla, you have the opportunity for personal and professional growth through regular performance reviews, targeted training programs, and educational opportunities (e.g., high-voltage training, management training)
- Company Culture: Immerse yourself in our inspiring company culture, where innovation, teamwork, and passion are at the heart of everything we do
- Innovative Projects and Technologies: You will have the chance to work on groundbreaking projects and technologies that are shaping the future of the automotive industry and sustainable energy
- Benefits and Perks: You can expect a competitive salary and benefits package, including Tesla stock options or a cash award, access to our corporate benefits program, 30 days of vacation, a 13th-month salary, as well as the option for a company pension plan and a subsidy for the Germany ticket
- Engaged Team and Positive Work Environment: Work in a dedicated and motivated team, known for its great atmosphere and excellent teamwork. Be part of a team that contributes to a sustainable future and renewable energy
What You'll Do
- You drive operational excellence by managing daily Facility requests for Tesla locations (Sales, Service and Delivery Centers), ensuring seamless coordination with vendors and timely execution.
- You take ownership of critical escalations related to repair/maintenance requests and recurring services (i.e. janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, etc.) and swiftly resolve them.
- You create purchase orders to implement services and assets at our sites and manage invoices independently (check work completed, approve invoices, resolve errors, support vendors).
- You conduct multiple site visits per month (20-30% travel), assessing the state of visited locations, helping local Managers to resolve Facility requests and help to prepare sites for visits by authorities.
- You perform Facility cost and spending reviews with the location and country managers, proactively identifying and implementing Facility related cost saving opportunities.
- You manage communication between stakeholders (e.g. property owners, local Leadership, supporting teams) on all Facility initiatives and projects.
- You performance-manage our largest vendors regarding contract (KPI, SLA) and search, onboard and educate new suppliers if required.
What You'll Bring
- You are passionate about working in Facilities and other infrastructure-related areas, supported by at least 2 years of relevant working experience in this field.
- You bring strong motivation and thrive in a high energy, fast-paced environment, eager to go above and beyond to reach your goals.
- You have exceptional organizational skills and can prioritize your workload effectively, taking into consideration multiple perspectives.
- You enjoy tackling Facility-related challenges and keep an attention to details, ensuring high-quality outcomes in every task.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to establish strong working relationships in a cross-functional team environment.
- You can communicate fluently in English, with German or East European language skills as a plus to connect with our diverse teams and stakeholders.
- You are proficient using Microsoft Office and demonstrate an ability to adapt and learn new systems quickly.
