We are a product company developing a multi-national debt collection platform using Ruby on Rails and running on AWS. With a fully automated and individually tailored approach, we assess the situation of each debtor individually and thus achieve higher repayment rates without burdening the customer relationship. Our Data and Behavioral Science teams utilize purpose-built Python tools to analyze and enrich our data. 

Our company has experienced significant growth and we are continuously improving our infrastructure, processes, and policies to form a reliable foundation for further growth. To further develop our innovative product, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role you will work with a dedicated tech squad, collaborate closely with a product manager, lead developer, and QA team.

What you can do with us:Design test cases for complex functionalities and take care of the implementation of UI automation using Selenium with JavaWork closely with our development team and product managers to understand business requirementsCreate, document, execute, and maintain functional and end-to-end tests for large-scale, complex software systemsProactively engage with all stakeholders to close gaps in specificationsTake ownership of the quality standard in your teamConvert business requirements into test scenarios written in Gherkin language formatShare best practices and improvements within the squad and the QA teamCommunicate challenges clearly, report and find root causes of bugsWhat you should bring for it:

Must have: 

3+ years of strong QA experience covering the full testing lifecycle of web applicationsStrong Java knowledgeSolid experience in automating web applications using Selenium, TestNG, and MavenGood experience in automating API testsKnowledge of API manual testing and basic understanding of API architecture such as REST protocolsUnderstanding of microservices and monolith applicationsExperience in owning QA activities in agile (Scrum, Kanban) delivery methodologiesExceptional attention to detail and excellent fault-finding, debugging, and diagnostic skillsProficient in creating functional and non-functional risk-based test plansSolid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience in maintaining jobs in CI/CD environmentBasic knowledge of SQLFamiliarity with Git, GitHub, and DockerVery good English written and verbal communication skillsNice to have: Knowledge of or experience with Gherkin LanguageBasic knowledge of AWS Experience with Playwright with JavaScript Transparency, Execution, Ownership, Customer Centricity, Innovation and Integrity are important to us and we at PAIR Finance embody these values.
