You can look forward to

• Active participation in the operational core processes of the internal model, particularly in the quarterly model runs for the Hannover Re Group and its various entities
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with various interfaces (e.g., with other departments or with BaFin)
• Execution of regular model runs and preparation of result reports for multiple Hannover Re units
• Generation of key risk figures, performance of analyses and contribution to a wide range of internal model applications
• Implementation of model changes, including change analyses and validation activities

You come equipped with

• A completed degree in (business) mathematics, physics or a related quantitative field
• Initial experience in the (re)insurance industry, ideally gained through internships
• PProgramming skills in MATLAB are an advantage; strong proficiency in MS Office
• Proficient user skills in both English and German, combined with strong communication skills
• A creative and conceptual mindset, marked by curiosity, collegiality, reliability and strong problem-solving abilities
