YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer & Architect who is highly proficient in ABAP development, Clean Core principles, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This is a hands-on coding role, requiring strong expertise in ABAP on Cloud, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming), CDS Views, and AMDP along with deep architectural knowledge of SAP BTP services.

The ideal candidate should have a product mindset, an ability to drive end-to-end development, and a strong focus on modernizing SAP landscapes with Clean Core best practices.

SAP BTP Development & Architecture:

  • Design and implement solutions using SAP BTP, ABAP on Cloud, RAP, and OData services.
  • Develop and enhance modern SAP applications using Clean Core principles, ensuring minimal modifications to the SAP standard.
  • Architect and implement secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-native solutions within SAP BTP.
  • Leverage SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) to build cloud-based extensions.

ABAP & Clean Core Development:

  • Hands-on development of ABAP on Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, and AMDP procedures.
  • Optimize custom ABAP code to align with Clean Core principles and SAP S/4HANA modernization strategies.
  • Implement side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP and avoid core modifications.

Integration & Deployment:

  • Develop OData and API-based integrations between SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP projects, ensuring high code quality and automation.
  • Work with SAP AI/ML services, Event Mesh, and SAP Integration Suite for intelligent automation.

Solution Governance & Best Practices:

  • Advocate and enforce Clean Core methodologies to ensure smooth future SAP upgrades.
  • Define BTP architecture standards, development guidelines, and best practices for the team.
  • Conduct technical reviews, performance optimizations, and security assessments for SAP developments.

YOUR PROFILE
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of hands-on SAP development experience with expertise in:

  • ABAP on Cloud / RAP / AMDP / CDS Views / OData Services
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP HANA Cloud
  • Side-by-Side Extensibility & Clean Core architecture
  • Work with SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, API Management

Soft Skills & Experience:

  • Strong solution architecture and design thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong understanding of SAP's Clean Core strategy & extensibility options.
  • Ability to collaborate with business and functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
