Tasks- Develop mathematical foundations for visualization methods such as neighbor embeddings and diffusion-based techniques
- Analyze the structure of graph representations of high-dimensional data, especially single-cell omics datasets
- Design and implement novel representation learning algorithms and apply them to neuro and clinical single-cell data
- Publish and present research results at international venues
- Contribute to project management, teaching, and grant preparation
- Very good Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, Cognitive Science or a related field
- Strong interest and experience in machine learning algorithm design and analysis, as well as in developing open-source software (Python)
- Proficiency in handling complex datasets; experience with single-cell data is advantageous
- Curiosity, excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
- Prior publications at conferences or in journals are a plus
