Our AI-powered Treasury Management Platform gives companies real-time visibility over cash, liquidity, and debt - automating what CFOs have managed in spreadsheets for years.
We're one of Europe's fastest-growing fintechs, backed by Creandum (Spotify, Klarna) and other top-tier investors, with a €15M Series A closed in 2024.
Now, we're expanding into the DACH region, ****and we're looking for an Account Executive who combines ambition, teamwork, and humility to build something lasting.
You'll join a 100+ person European team of diverse nationalities and backgrounds, united by a shared passion for transforming finance. You'll also work alongside founders who spent over a decade in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan before building Embat.
Your Mission
This isn't about inheriting a pipeline.
It's about creating one - and building a market from the ground up.
You'll be one of the first AEs in Germany, driving Embat's commercial growth by leading end-to-end sales cycles with mid-market and large finance teams.
You'll combine hunter instinct with strategic thinking: identifying prospects, opening doors, and earning trust where none exists yet.
You'll collaborate directly with the Head of Sales DACH and founders, shaping how Embat grows in one of its most important markets.
How You'll Do It
- Build your own pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and market intelligence.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close; selling to CFOs, Finance Directors, and Treasurers.
- Lead consultative discovery to uncover pain points and articulate value clearly.
- Understand how finance teams think, from cash flow cycles to liquidity challenges, and can speak their language with credibility.
- Navigate complex sales processes with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Leverage AI tools to identify opportunities, increase efficiency, and improve win rates.
- Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Product, Implementation) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Represent the DACH market internally, your insights will shape our GTM strategy.
- Represent Embat at client meetings and industry events, building trust and visibility in the DACH finance community.
You're ambitious, humble, and collaborative.
You thrive in motion, and build where others wait for direction.
- 3-6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with mid-market cycles, ideally in finance, ERP, or accounting-related software.
- Proven record of hunting and closing new business - especially in new or undefined markets.
- Comfortable building pipeline from scratch and working autonomously.
- Fluent in German, confident in English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you love ownership, learning, and fast feedback loops.
- Strong communicator who listens deeply and earns trust.
- Curious about finance and technology.
- A team player who believes success is shared, not owned.
