DescriptionThis course focuses on enhancing the creativity, vibrancy, and engagement of your nonfiction writing. We'll delve into online, magazine, and newspaper articles that use scenes and details to craft compelling narratives about people and their experiences. You will develop a strong voice in your writing, with a particular focus on the importance of effective interviewing. We'll emphasize writing about topics you are passionate about, analyzing AI-generated essays, and incorporating nonfiction examples that resonate with you. The course includes writing practice to reinforce the concepts studied.
QualificationsRequires MFA or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong preference given to those with active or prior teaching experience with program/department
Strong preference given to those currently active or practicing in the field of Journalism.
