In this role, you will be responsible for planning, expanding, and continuously optimizing our network infrastructure – from introducing modern technologies and troubleshooting to integrating cloud and IoT solutions. With your technical expertise, you will ensure stable and secure networks, making a crucial contribution to the further development of our system landscape.
As a Network Architect, you not only possess in-depth knowledge of network technologies, but you also work independently, in a structured manner, and with a solution-oriented approach. What you can expect from us:
- Planning and implementation of modern network infrastructures
- Implementation and maintenance of routing, switching and firewall systems
- Integration of fiber optic connections and their technical implementation
- Setup and maintenance of VPN solutions for secure network communication
- Integration of cloud services and local infrastructure (hybrid solutions)
- Integration of IoT systems using protocols such as MQTT
- Implementation of cloud load balancing and high availability solutions
- Planning and implementation of WLAN infrastructures with access points
- Integration of 5G networks into enterprise environments
- Use of antenna technologies and optimization of radio propagation
- Setup and maintenance of network monitoring systems
- Implementation of alerting and incident management systems
- Creation and maintenance of documentation on network architectures and processes.
- Collaboration with internal departments and customer IT
What makes you stand out?
- Solid knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls and network security
- Experience in monitoring and managing complex networks
- Familiarity with IoT architectures and their communication
- Technical understanding of cloud infrastructure and hybrid architectures
- Analytical thinking skills and the ability to proactively identify and solve problems.
- Independent and structured work style with strong problem-solving skills
- Practical experience in implementation and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills in dealings with stakeholders and customer IT
- Documentation strength and accuracy in recording technical processes
- German language skills are an advantage for communicating with German customers, but not a requirement.
