AUFGABEN

Purpose
The ECM Framework Manager – Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing projects within the ECM framework. This includes vehicle takeover and retrofit projects. The manager ensures the smooth execution of all projects through efficient coordination and management of resources, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership and Management 

  • Project Planning: Responsible for the planning, monitoring, and execution of projects within the ECM framework, including vehicle takeover and retrofit projects.
  • Project Management: Ensuring the achievement of project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Escalating deviations and decision-making needs to the steering committee ("SteerCo").

2. Coordination of Internal and External Resources

  • Collaboration: Close cooperation with various departments within the company to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Transparency: Creating transparency regarding project status, decision-making needs, and project risks.

3. Project Execution

  • Project Management: Independently managing projects with a designated team, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with all project parameters.

4. Support for Vehicle Handover and Takeover

  • Process Support: Supporting and overseeing the processes for vehicle handovers and takeovers to ensure all requirements and quality standards are met.

5. On-Site Support

  • On-Site Assistance: Actively supporting on-site inspections and ensuring that all requirements and quality standards are fulfilled.

6. Travel Requirements

  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel 50-70%, both nationally and internationally, depending on project requirements.

PROFIL

Education
Completed studies in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.

Experience
Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work. Experience in planning and executing complex projects, ideally in the ECM or rolling stock sector.

Teamwork
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with various departments and external partners.

Flexibility
High willingness to travel and flexibility to meet project demands.

Soft Skills
Fluent in German and English. Additional language skills are an advantage.
