Your Tasks

The internship is in our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Right from the start you have the opportunity to work on with experienced and dedicated project managers and technical experts on challenging packaging development projects. As part of this job, you will be responsible for your own projects, and you will support our packaging development team with:

  • Product creation together with our international team members from Marketing, Research & Development and Supply Chain
  • Technical consulting of marketing functions and design agencies
  • Development of sustainable materials and optimization of our packaging technologies e.g. plastics, metal and paper as well as our innovative applications systems
  • Coordination and timing of development projects (project management)
  • Implementation of packaging ideas with Beiersdorf packaging suppliers
  • Support in achieving our sustainable targets like weight reduction and reuse of materials
  • Technical coordination of packaging ideas with Beiersdorf production centers across the world
  • Securing the packaging functionality for consumers
  • Assuring the integration of the supply chain
Your Profile
  • Student of Packaging technology, business engineering with focus on Packaging technology, process or plastics engineering
  • Enrolled during the whole internship (bachelor or master studies) respectively internship after bachelor studies in preparation of master studies (internship needs to be completed within the gap year)
  • Some semesters successfully completed or an excellent intermediate diploma
  • Team oriented
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), German language skills are a plus
  • MS Office
    Knowledge in SAP will be a plus
