Job Summary
The Sales Director will be responsible for driving Supermicro's growth and market share in the Eastern Europe region by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on leader with deep industry knowledge, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the technology sector.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive business growth, revenue generation, and market expansion across the Eastern Europe region.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
- Engage with existing and new customers in sectors such as Data Centers/Cloud, Gaming, HPC, VARs, and Government institutions.
- Identify opportunities, create targeted lists for vertical markets and projects, and expand enterprise customer accounts across AI training/inference, HPC, data platforms, cloud, IoT, and edge.
- Develop end-user projects, establish new partner relationships, and build multi-threaded relationships with executive sponsorship within large, complex customer organizations.
- Communicate product features and deliver market insights to influence customer decisions.
- Drive and secure strategic projects while managing complex sales cycles.
- Consistently achieve lead generation and sales quotas and own regional revenue targets.
- Ensure accurate pipeline management and clear revenue tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure customer success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other advanced business qualification preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in a regional management role, ideally within Eastern Europe or a sub-region of it.
- Proven success in managing complex projects and consistently achieving or exceeding assigned goals on time.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and cultures.
- Fluency in English is required, other European languages preferred.
- Passionate about sales, adaptable to flexible work schedules, and able to perform effectively under deadlines and constraints.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure solutions.
- Highly results-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled in multi-tasking and time management.
