Job Description
  • Implementation of complex energy contracts (natural gas, electricity, PPAs, etc.) in MET Germany's billing system (cpX Energy)
  • Input and quality assurance of billing master data (volumes, prices, master data)
  • Generation of all electricity and natural gas invoices from the billing system
  • Responsibility for forwarding billing data to downstream processes such as accounting, payments, and payment verification
  • Supporting Key Account Managers in customer service
  • Professional involvement in projects aimed at optimizing and further developing billing processes and systems
  • Participation in product development with regard to the processing of new products in billing and reporting
Qualifications
  • University degree in economics, energy management, or equivalent experience/education
  • 3–6 years of professional experience in energy billing or a comparable position
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience with the cpX Energy billing system is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and energy tax law is an advantage
  • Very good German skills and at least good English skills
