SAP Basis Administrator

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain, administrate, and operate the ERP system (currently SAP R/3) and associated peripheral systems.
• Support global system harmonization initiatives, including the migration from R/3 ECC6.0 (on HANA) to S/4 HANA.
• Analyze requirements and implement new, future-proof solutions in alignment with IT strategy and business process needs.
• Configure system settings via customizing and identify opportunities for system migration and harmonization.
• Assist in SAP Basis/Infrastructure projects across all phases, including partial project management responsibilities and participation in worldwide SAP rollouts.
• Coordinate internal SAP projects and manage collaboration with external partners.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for all SAP Basis/Infrastructure-related queries.

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in the IT industry.
• Strong knowledge of SAP R/3, particularly in SAP Basis/Infrastructure Administration.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and general IT systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of archiving and access management processes.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a structured approach to work.
• Ability to independently implement IT requirements through customizing.
• Process-oriented mindset with a consultant-style approach.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and committed.
• Excellent teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
