About the Role

We are partnering with a leading global private equity firm with a strong presence in Germany and a proven track record of successful investments across various industries. This prestigious firm is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Private Equity Associate to join their team in Germany.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-impact transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management, while gaining exposure to a diverse range of industries and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Perform financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis to evaluate investment targets.
  • Support the due diligence process, including financial, commercial, and operational assessments.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and support the performance of portfolio companies, including strategic initiatives and value creation plans.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on deal execution and portfolio management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a top-tier university.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate M&A.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and German.
  • Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Passion for private equity and a deep interest in driving value creation.
