We're looking for a
Product Owner - Shared AI Services
to drive cross-product initiatives, adoption of shared AI APIs and SDKs, and platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the multi-tenant AI services vision, strategy, and outcome-based roadmap aligned with Group AI and product-unit priorities.
• Translate platform strategy into clear problem statements, OKRs, and prioritized backlogs across shared AI capabilities (inference, data pipelines, governance, observability).
• Drive cross-product discovery with architects and UX to validate requirements, usage patterns, SLAs, and integration contracts for shared AI APIs and SDKs.
• Own intake and prioritization for cross-brand demands, balancing reliability, cost, compliance, and value; facilitate quarterly planning and release governance.
• Lead technical program management for multi-team initiatives (e.g., retrieval, prompt orchestration, evals, safety), ensuring dependencies, milestones, and risks are actively managed.
• Specify and steward product requirements for platform security, privacy, Responsible AI, and data residency; partner with Legal, Security, and DPO.
• Establish SLOs/SLAs and track platform health with telemetry and dashboards; drive incident review, postmortems, and reliability improvements with engineering.
• Coordinate vendor management and cost optimization across model providers, vector databases, and infrastructure; own unit economics and usage policies.
• Create integration guides, reference implementations, and enablement programs to accelerate adoption by product units; run forums and office hours.
• Align stakeholders via clear communication cadences, decision records, and executive updates; surface trade-offs and make go/no-go recommendations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 6+ years as Product Owner/Manager for platform or shared services, ideally AI/ML platforms.
• Experience with LLM productization: prompt engineering, RAG, evals, safety guardrails, cost/performance tuning.
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps stacks (model registries, feature stores, vector DBs, observability).
• Strong technical program management across multiple engineering squads and dependencies.
• Proven track record of SLO/SLA design, incident management, and reliability improvement.
• Background in software engineering or systems architecture sufficient to review designs and trade-offs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation across brands and functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to craft clear RFCs, PRDs, ADRs, and executive updates.
• Structured prioritization and outcome orientation; fluent with OKRs and portfolio trade-offs.
• Risk management and incident leadership; calm under pressure and bias to action.
• Ability to operate in matrixed, global organizations and drive alignment.
• Continuous improvement mindset; drives retrospectives into durable improvements.
• Language: English fluency required; German a plus.
