Your Role:

This role will support orchestrating complex sales deals by acting as a regional point of contact for commercial teams, facilitating smooth sales processes while ensuring that pricing, terms, and approvals align with company strategy for swift execution. As a sales enabler, the deal desk expert partners with sales teams to design profitable and compliant deals, serving as a bridge between Commercial, Business Franchise, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive execution. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with approval frameworks and governing the approval workflow for spot quotes, annual price agreements (CSPs), RFPs, and RFQs. By accelerating quote turnaround times, improving margins, and optimizing pricing strategies, the expert aims to maximize product portfolio value and drive growth while advocating for market-relevant pricing within franchises and progressively reducing the need for escalations by influencing commercial strategy.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in Pricing, Commercial Operations, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or related functions.
  • Strong analytical skills (BI tools, financial modeling).
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Pricing Optimizations platforms/ERP (PRIMA, SAP, Oracle).
  • Expertise in the MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Ability to clean, manipulate, analyze, and visualize large scale data to resolve complex problems.
  • Understanding of contract law basics and commercial terms.
  • Familiarity with global pricing frameworks, financial modeling and governance principles.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English, negotiation and cross-functional influence.
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: in Business Administration, or Finance or economics
  • Certifications (optional but advantageous):
    • Certified Pricing Professional (CPP)
    • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
    • Data Analytics or Business Analytics Certification
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL and experience with machine learning libraries
  • Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the EMEA region.
