About our client:

Our client is a leading independent provider of technology products and mobile services in Germany, with a strong focus on both B2C and B2B solutions. Your Role:

You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and availability of systems for internal teams. You will work in a hybrid setup, supporting both Windows and Linux environments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain virtualization clusters and solutions (VMware/Proxmox)
  • Monitor systems and perform proactive maintenance
  • Administer NAS/SAN solutions to ensure data availability and security
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies (Cloud & OnPrem)
  • Maintain central password management systems
  • Manage server hardware, DNS entries, and SSL certificates
  • Provide internal technical support across departments

Your Profile:

  • Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies
  • Solid understanding of backup and recovery concepts
  • Confident handling of NAS/SAN systems
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash or PowerShell)
  • Experience with monitoring tools
  • Ideally: knowledge of databases and Infrastructure as Code
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Fluent in German (C1)
