We are looking for an experienced
Azure DevOps Engineer
to help shape and further develop our modern data platform in the Azure cloud. In this role, you will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and the Scrum team to deliver highly available, scalable, and secure solutions in the Data & Analytics environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Automate, operate, and continuously enhance an Azure-based data platform in the Databricks ecosystem
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code concepts for automated deployments
  • Develop scalable, reusable, and robust technical solutions
  • Monitor and stabilize cloud workloads in Azure
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within an agile SCRUM setup
  • Contribute to requirement analysis and align technical solutions with stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Strong experience in operating and monitoring cloud environments, especially Azure
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)
  • Ability to design scalable and reusable architecture concepts
  • Solid expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in
    Python
    ,
    PySpark
    , and
    SQL
  • Several years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer, ideally with a focus on Azure and container platforms
  • Experience with database systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL
  • Strong communication and analytical skills when working with technical and business stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, especially SCRUM
  • Excellent German language skills for communication and documentation
