Metal Fabrication Technician

Join us as Metal Fabrication Technician (m/f/x) and work with us on changing the future

• Operate a variety of CNC machines, including milling, turning, and grinding
• Set up machines and run production processes efficiently and accurately
• Support the introduction and operation of advanced optics production equipment (Diamond Turning, Vacuum Coating, Metrology)
• Perform machine setups under the guidance of engineering staff or supervisors
• Interpret technical drawings and apply basic GD&T principles
• Accurately record inspection results and production hours
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with 5S principles
• Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, contributing to process improvements
• Shift work may be required

• Experience with CNC machines or metal fabrication
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential
• Technical education, vocational degree, or apprenticeship preferred
• Positive attitude with a commitment to following defined processes
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel)
• Effective teamwork and communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage
