In shortOur wholesale business is growing and expanding globally, and we're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript) to help scale On's Go-To-Market & Wholesale operations. In this role, you'll be based in our Berlin office, reporting to one of the engineer managers, working closely with the product team and key stakeholders in Zurich to improve and grow our systems using the latest technology.Your missionLead and contribute to our GTM projects that impact our merchandising and wholesale operation.Collaborate with the wider engineering teams to maintain the project codebases, raising the bar of code quality and scalability.Work daily within a cross functional squad to build features and conduct experiments aligned with the product vision.Streamline the work of the engineering team and contribute to improving productivity.Improve deployment processes, such as speeding up the CI/CD pipeline, implementing canary deploys, and automating rollbacks.Involving product conversations and take ownership in cases where there are lots of unknowns and open questionsYour storyYou have been acting in a tech lead role using Typescripts in backend > 1 yearExtensive experience with Typescript and with or a similar opinionated framework (Spring Boot e.g.)Practical experience with React, and Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming languageProduction experience with Rest API design and best practices of system designSolid Knowledge and hands-on Experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with Relational databases is a must-have.Fluent in EnglishNice To HavePractical knowledge of Document datastoresExperience with event driven architecturesUnderstanding of Domain Driven DesignAttributes Of a Successful CandidateProduct-Minded: Beyond just writing code, you possess a strong product engineering mindset, consistently connecting technical solutions to business value and user needs.Pragmatic Problem Solver: You excel at tackling complex challenges with practical, efficient solutions, always prioritizing simplicity and avoiding unnecessary system complexity.Collaborative Influencer: A true team player, you're adept at guiding team decisions and fostering consensus through professional and constructive influence.Committed to Growth and Feedback: You're comfortable providing candid feedback to both peers and leadership, and equally eager to integrate feedback from others to continuously elevate your own expertise.What We OfferOn is a place that is centered around growth and progress.
