Job Description
Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the world of 5G technology? As a Working Student in our Verification department in Ulm, you will play a crucial role to extend the use of AI/ML in testing. The department is responsible for testing gNB 5G network element in end to end and simulated environments. You will be directly involved in developing, training and testing AI model to be used for discovering potential malfunction in 5G system.
This is an incredible opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge telecommunications technology. You will collaborate with seasoned engineers, allowing you to learn industry best practices and the intricacies of software validation in the 5G domain.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Develop an AI model for bug finding in Nokia gNB based on internal logs
- Defining neuronal networks for log file analyses with nlp methodology.
- Preprocess data sources for neuronal network training and querying
- Train the AI model based on expected messages exchanges between networks elements
- Test the AI models on different log types of simulated and real environment systems reproduced in laboratory
Key Skills And Experience
- Master's/Bachelor's student in Germany and target to be on-site in Ulm regularly
- Hands-on AI/ML knowledge (with focus on NLP, neuronal networks)
- Basic knowledge of 5G Mobile Networks
- Good programming skills in Python (preferably with knowledge in tensorflow, pandas and flask)
- Experiences on unix/linux bash
- SW development or testing experience (preferable: telecommunications background)
- Creativity, proactivity and ability to work independently
- Fluent in English
- Availability for at least six months
