Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for planning, executing and documenting static and dynamic component tests.
  • Coordination and integration of technical content within the engineering teams and coordination with quality assurance and occupational safety.
  • Execution of cryogenic component tests at the MT Aerospace site in Augsburg or at external partners and establishment of an appropriate test environment.
  • Further development of the existing test portfolio for cryogenic component tests
  • Independent preparation of calculations and quotations for component tests
  • Detailed planning of test activities, both internal and external
  • Creation of test plans and test procedures
  • Reporting to project managers, supervisors and customers (documentation & presentation)

Your Qualifications

  • Completed degree as Dipl.-Ing. (TU/FH) or Master's degree in measurement technology/sensor technology, physics, mechanical engineering or similar
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in test engineering or test execution of complex component tests
  • Experience in handling cryogenic media in test environments (liquid and gaseous) desirable
  • Experience with non-inert media in test environments desirable
  • Good knowledge of theoretical and practical measurement technology and vacuum technology as well as thermodynamic and mechanical component behaviour
  • Experience in automated measurement data evaluation
  • Programming experience (e.g. Python, VBA) desirable
  • Ability to moderate and work in a team in cooperation with internal and external customers
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
