About the Role
As a
Sales Specialist
, you will represent a
market-leading portfolio of surgical wearables
designed to enhance safety, comfort, and efficiency in the operating room. You will be responsible for driving sales growth across your region, building strong relationships with
nurses, theatre managers, surgeons, and procurement teams
, and ensuring that our products remain the preferred choice in hospitals and surgical centres.
This role is ideal for a driven and consultative salesperson who thrives in the clinical environment and enjoys engaging directly with OR staff to provide hands-on support, product education, and tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve growth targets across the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with
operating room staff
, including
scrub nurses, theatre managers, and surgeons
. - Conduct
product demonstrations, workshops, and in-service training
to drive awareness and usage of the surgical wearables portfolio. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals and surgical networks.
- Manage the
full sales cycle
– from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals. - Collaborate with
marketing, clinical education, and product management teams
to deliver an exceptional customer experience. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver timely sales reports and forecasts.
Candidate Profile
- Proven sales experience in the
medical device, surgical, or healthcare consumables
sector. - Strong understanding of
operating room environments
and workflow dynamics. - Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with
clinical staff
, particularly nurses and theatre personnel. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work autonomously within a defined territory.
- Fluent in
German
; proficiency in
English
is a requirement also. - Willingness to travel within
NRW, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland
. - Ideally educated to degree level in business, life sciences, or a related discipline.
