We are looking for a structural engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Magdeburg to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for the structural design and dimensioning of conveyor technology equipment/systems
  • Creation of structural systems in compliance with contract specifications and applicable international standards
  • Creation of load assumptions, including consultation with the customer
  • Optimization calculations to comply with specified mass budgets
  • Support in the preparation of technical quotations
  • Support for external partners
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed degree in engineering (primarily with a focus on steel and mechanical engineering)
  • Three to five years of professional experience in the field of structural analysis of conveyor equipment/systems or comparable technology
  • Knowledge of the structural design of equipment steel structures and other steel construction elements
  • MS Office skills and knowledge of structural analysis and FEM software, e.g., RSTAB, RFEM
  • Confident handling of standards (Eurocode, FEM II, ISO 5049, DIN 22261, etc.)
  • Practical English skills at level B2
