On behalf of our client, one of the most dynamic companies in the field of telecommunication & infrastructure services, we are looking for a Field Training & Coaching Engineer that will be based in Cologne, Germany.

Our client is delivering large-scale projects across Greece and abroad, while shaping the future through cutting-edge technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be an engineer with hands-on experience in construction, particularly in the FTTH industry, and have strong leadership skills in managing and mentoring people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training programs for field personnel involved in FTTH network construction.
  • Provide hands-on coaching during field operations to ensure proper execution of tasks.
  • Conduct field visits to assess the performance and skills of construction teams and provide real-time guidance.
  • Lead and manage field construction teams to ensure they adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Assess the performance of field personnel, identify skill gaps, and provide corrective feedback and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align training and performance efforts with project goals.
  • Prepare progress reports and performance metrics for senior management.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Civil, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the FTTH construction industry.
  • Experience in managing and training teams in a construction or field operations environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory requirements in the FTTH sector.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
