About the job

As our Bakery Supervisor you are responsible for everything "Hands-On" that's happening in our bakery in Berlin.

You work together closely with the Bakery Management and with your team in the production while always leading by example. You will ensure the efficient operation in the production, our prep kitchen and washing room. You help to implement new processes, enforce company rules and standards and support the production team. You will give frequent feedback to your team members in the production to motivate, correct mistakes and maintain a positive work culture.

Your tasks
  • You work hands-on in our donut production producing a variety of vegan donuts
  • You build up & sustain a great team and train new bakers & confectioners
  • You find solutions and trouble-shoot problems during the production process
  • You are responsible for quality management and compliance with health and safety laws and hygiene regulations
  • You support the Bakery management in inventory and ordering of materials
  • Close cooperation with our Bakery Management
About you

We don't expect you to check all the qualification boxes and encourage you to apply if you have experience in some of the areas.

  • You have previous Experience in a bakery / food production site
  • You had a formal training as baker / confectioner or similar
  • Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Availability to work early hours, weekends and public holidays

    (our bakery operates between midnight until afternoon)
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisor position
  • Attention to detail - you can produce food products with consistent high quality
  • Strong interpersonal skills, understanding of people and how to motivate them
  • Flexible mindset and willingness to try new ideas as well as production methods
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work based on importance and delegate tasks to the appropriate team member
  • Knowledge of computer programs like MS Office, Google Docs etc.
