Global Category Manager Machines & MRO (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS

  • Responsible for the timely selection of suppliers according to the Category Strategy inclusive supplier nomination acc. to best-in class TCO comparison for the assigned sub-categories and geographical scope
  • Identify and drive small-medium size regional/global saving projects as well as negotiation of relevant contracts in coordination with the Global Category Director
  • Drive sourcing process, execute RFQs, including supplier selection and monitoring of implementation
  • Support category strategy development and implementation including active management of the supplier portfolio
  • Strongly orient all measures and decisions to purchasing management KPIs
  • Perform data analytics for assigned sub-commodities

YOUR PROFILE

  • Commercial and / or technical degree
  • Profound work experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain
  • Solid negotiating skills
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Dedication to adhere to processes and further improve those
  • Distinct analytical thinking
  • Business fluent English & German additional other languages would be an advantage
  • Self-motivated and self-propelling
  • Solid knowledge of MS-Office and preferably SAP
