Your Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the Accounting and Controlling divisions

  • Management and development of the General Ledger, Group Accounting, Credit Management and Controlling divisions (approx. 23 employees)

  • Ensuring the timely preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as the consolidated financial statements

  • Planning, implementation and control of budgets and forecasts, including deviation analyses

  • Taking over annual planning and cost accounting

  • Central contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks and first point of contact for the Group management

  • Establishing and ensuring the implementation of current accounting and tax regulations, providing active advice and support to the team leaders/teams on accounting issues

  • Continuous development of the Finance and Controlling teams

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in economics (ideally with a focus on accounting) or a comparable qualification

  • Relevant professional experience in group accounting, preferably with experience in auditing

  • Proficiency in the German Commercial Code (HGB) (individual and consolidated financial statements)

  • Leadership experience is advantageous

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

  • Hands-on mentality as well as a structured and independent way of working

  • High level of social competence, ability to work in a team and good communication skills for complex issues
