About the Project

We are seeking experienced
Substation Automation / Control Systems Engineers (Umspannwerksleittechnik)
for long-term assignments within Germany's energy infrastructure environment.

You will support technically challenging HV/EHV substation projects in cooperation with transmission system operators, utilities, and large industrial stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Engineering and integration of substation automation and control systems
  • Configuration and testing of control/SCADA components
  • Supporting several substation projects at once
  • Collaboration with vendors, TSOs, and internal engineering teams
  • Ensuring compliance with grid and technical standards
  • Documentation, reporting, and commissioning support

Requirements

  • Ideally 10–15 years of relevant experience (7–10 years with strong references also considered)
  • In-depth knowledge of substation automation and control technologies
  • Hands-on experience with HV/EHV installations
  • TSO project experience is a strong advantage
  • Very good communication skills in German or English
  • Independent, detail-oriented working style

Work Setup

  • Initial onsite onboarding in Germany for 3–6 months
  • Hybrid setup afterwards: part remote, part onsite (typically 2–3 days/week remote)
