Visit us at to find out more about JTI and what it's like to work for us.Your tasks: Develop and implement the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Health & Safety capability building strategy, including training and qualification plansDesign and deploy KPIs and measurement systems to monitor H&S capability levels and drive continuous improvementBuild organizational and individual H&S competencies across regions, ensuring qualification of EHS leads and DMSO teamsManage the global H&S training matrix by job, function, and region, and deliver programs from operator to leadership levelSimplify and localize global EHS standards, procedures, and tools, prioritizing critical areas such as risk assesments, machine safety and contractor safetyLead regular compliance assessments and peer reviews across GSC sites, ensuring adherence to local regulations and corporate standardsDrive global ISO certification programs (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO and foster a continuous improvement mindsetCollaborate with engineering and external partners to enhance machine safety design and operating standardsYour profile:Relevant educational background: University degree in EHS, Safety Management, Engineering or comparable educationPractical experience: 10+ years of experience in EHS, expertise in Manufacturing excellence systems, such as IWS (Integrated Work Systems), is a strong assetValuable knowledge: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, risk management, and ISO systems, fluent in English (written and spoken), expertise in H&S behavioral and cultural systems, as well as strong technical training capabilitiesSpecial strengths: Proven experience in machine safety design standards and operating proceduresSuitable personality: Excellent communication, relationship management and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence across global teamsYour benefits: Your team: You will work in an open and international working environment with approx. 60 nations at the Trier site.Your remuneration: Above-average pay including 13th and 14th monthly salary and bonus as well as annual reviews.
