Let's talk about you

:

  • Own the development and evolution of the in-vehicle digital assistant for global markets (excluding China), ensuring seamless conversational interfaces and proactive assistance.
  • Act as the functional owner for end-to-end speech functionality, guaranteeing consistency across smart cockpit platforms and cloud services.
  • Define product vision, functional scope, and roadmap in alignment with brand UX and feature strategies.
  • Monitor competitor benchmarks, user feedback, and emerging AI and speech technology trends to guide future improvements.
  • Prioritize development tasks and collaborate with software, UX/UI, and speech technology teams to deliver high-quality incremental releases.
  • Create and maintain product, system, and design requirements, including change management processes.
  • Coordinate integration of the digital assistant into the smart cockpit platform with internal teams and global partners.
  • Support validation activities by defining acceptance criteria, KPIs, and usability test plans.
  • Lead test and validation strategy, including creation of test methods and standards.
  • Manage issue resolution through root cause analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust launch quality and compliance with privacy, cybersecurity, and market-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, UNECE R155/R156).
  • Represent the product in internal alignment meetings, partner discussions, and vehicle program milestones.


Position Overview:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Linguistics, Human–Computer Interaction, or a related technical field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in infotainment or smart cockpit domains, ideally within automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Proven track record (3+ years) as product owner or feature lead in infotainment, digital UX, or connected services.
  • Strong understanding of speech recognition, NLP/NLU frameworks, and embedded system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive voice platforms (e.g., Cerence, Alexa Auto SDK, Google Automotive Services).
  • Familiarity with agile development and ability to translate user/business needs into technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-focused with high integrity.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for global supplier and partner visits.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
  • Valid driving license.
